Jane grew up in the suburbs of Seattle, where the nearby Cascade Mountains, Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands gave plenty of opportunities for hiking, sailing, and childhood vacation fun. Jane's grandparents built a cabin near the beach close to Anacortes, and her father's sailing adventures took the family from the cabin throughout the San Juan Islands every summer. Jane's paranormal thriller Viator takes place just down the road from her grandparents' cabin, on the same rocky, driftwood-strewn beach.
Jane writes technical and marketing copy at Roger Brooks International – a tourism-consulting firm that helps transform places into successful destinations. Traveling is a big part of the job, and Jane has been all over the U.S. and Canada, as well as many spectacular places in Europe and the Caribbean.
In spite of all the fun of travel, or perhaps because of it, Jane enjoys the comforts of her own home best. Writing at her own desk, with an open window beside her and a cup of tea for sipping, is Jane's favorite place to be. She still has many dreams, just waiting to be written.
